In Ezekiel 22, God says that he reviewed all of Israel for one intercessor and could find none. As a result, his judgement must come. This is a reminder that one person is all God needs. Just as Moses single handedly reminded God of his promises when He wished to destroy all of Israel, so too can we intercede for an entire nation; in fact, God counts on it! (Exodus 32:10-14). However, it is up to God how he’ll respond. In Exodus, he relents. In Genesis, whoever, he saves Lot and destroys the city. In Ezekiel 21, he claims to need to destroy all.
