Carbon-14 (C-14) degrades into Nitrogen-14 (N) with a half life of 5730 years. At the moment, roughly 1/1T C-14 atoms exist per C-12 (C). The earth has 1.3x10^50 atoms. Given that mass were made entirely of C-14, it would decay down to one atom within 1 million years. Therefore anything “older” than 1 million years old is inherently impossible to guarantee.
Half life can be expressed as: Therefore time, t = 953,901.27078647 years
