In Daniel 6, we have the final supernatural story of Daniel. Now under Persian control, Daniel is found in charge of large swaths of the land. Intending to make him the lead satrap, many conspired against him and approached King Darius, having him make a decree that any who pray to any man or God besides the king be thrown to the lions. Daniel continued to pray three times per day and was charged accordingly. The king tried all day to figure out a way to save Daniel but ultimately had to throw him in, by his own law. Daniel was rescued by an angel and was safe the next morning. The king did not eat or make merriment that night and ran back in the morning, praising God for he had saved Daniel. Then, the conspirators were thrown in the den and immediately devoured.

Trust God, for he will protect you in even the most dire of circumstance!
