Isaiah’s prophecy of Jesus
Isaiah 53 is a picture of Jesus hanging on the cross, beside two thieves, dying for our sins, then buried in a rich man’s tomb, and being brought back to life to share all of God’s domain with whom he pleases. This is exactly Jesus. He lived all of that and now holds the keys to life and death. The title deed has been surrendered to him and he shares with those he wishes. He intercedes for all and offers salvation from damnation - the price we owe for sinning.
