In Gen 18 and 19, the angels that had visited Abraham continued on to Sodom. There, they met Lot. Like Abraham, Lot welcomed them in warmly. That night, the men of the town approached, seeking to tape the men as they had the audacity to judge their city. Lot defends them but to no avail. Ultimately, this leads to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, yet God spares Lot and his family (or tries to, at least) and the town he flees to, Zoar.
Lot, then, also has two sons, by his daughters. One becomes the father of the Moabites (Moab) and another the father of the Ammonites (Ben-Ammi).
