Praise not sacrifice

Psalms 69:30-31 mentions that God loves praise more than a sacrifice. Good always prefers that we live righteously more than we ask for forgiveness. His mercy is sufficient to cover us but his grace should empower us to grow closer to him each day, not resubmit ourselves to sin and then free ourselves on repeat!
