Ex 30 outlines the spice blend to use. The blend of spices is only to be used in the temple. If it was used elsewhere, the person using it should be cut off from the congregation. This is the only blend to be offered. Lev 10 - Aaron’s sons who approach wrongly. They bring “strange fire” and are killed by God’s fire for it. They offered something of the world, not something of God, essentially idolatry.
