In Ezek 37, we see God bring Ezekiel to a valley full of the bones of dead army. He asks whether they will be raised to which Ezekiel responds that only God knows. God calls him to prophesy over them and they, in fact, come back to life. This signifies how Israel is dead in faith but God will raise them again. In the next set of verses, he unites Ephraim (often a symbol of the gentiles) together with Judah (generally considered “THE Jews”). They will become as one when God unites them.
